Man Walking Toward BMW Robbed At Gunpoint Outside Home In Westchester, Police Say

Authorities in Westchester are searching for at least three men who held a victim at gunpoint and stole his car in front of his residence, police said.

The incident happened on Wednesday, Sept. 27 around 7:15 a.m., when a man left his home in Scarsdale on Edgewood Road and walked toward his BMW SUV that was parked on the street.

According to Scarsdale Police, the victim was then approached by at least three men who displayed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded that he hand over his property, which included his car keys. 

The men then stole his BMW and drove west on Edgewood Road to the southbound Bronx River Parkway. 

No one was injured in the incident, police said.

According to authorities, the suspects arrived in what is believed to be a light-colored Dodge Charger with New Jersey plates, which is now being sought after by police. 

Scarsdale Police are collaborating with other New York and New Jersey agencies to find the stolen BMW, the Dodge Charger, and the suspects.
